After speaking to many people and working hard to raise awareness in my cause, I was very excited to get my first big contributor. In December of 2013, a larger non-profit, called Smiles Foundation, chose to support my foundation by giving Meds4kidz a donation and named me their Ambassador of 2013.

This motivated me to keep working as I saw I could get the kids more help, and the idea to organize Meds4Kidz Family 5K Fun Run/Walk was born. We had our first Family Fun Run last year, May 18th 2014 and it was a huge success. Motivated by this, we decided to make it an Annual event, and had our second Meds4Kidz Family 5K Fun Run/Walk on May 17th 2015. It was also a huge success!

One of the most amazing things during the 5K was to see the motivation and excitement of young children to participate! At a very young age, these children know that they are able to help others, and they love doing it! I believe this will be a great base for them growing up as caring
individuals who will make a difference in the world!!

I can’t wait to hold our next Meds4Kidz 5K Fun Run! We are going to try to organize more of these events each year!!
